Extend and Release

First, when you want to be a good iron player, you need to have
distance control. In order to hit shots consistently, you have to focus on making solid contact and swing at a pace that is always in control.

One thing that will help all golfers is to maintain the extension of
your arms so you can release the club after impact. At this point swinging through the ball is what you want to accomplish. After impact the swing does not end, and this extension and release will help you hit the ball longer every time.

In order to do both of these the right way you need to have training. Even though it takes time to build your muscles and get the right tempo, you really can benefit from a fitness program that
will give you the results your looking for.

Facing the Target

The next key that needs to be focused on is facing the target.

The key to distance control is swinging the club to a full and balanced finish position. Many golfers focus more upon the first two parts of the swing, the backswing and the downswing. In turn they forget about the through swing.Try to keep your swing speed consistent, with every club
and more importantly, stay in control. Not only to regulate the distance of the shot but when you swing through,be smooth in your rhythm and this will allow you to hold your finish position without losing your
balance.

Now knowing how important it is to face the target one needs
to be clear and concise about what fitness program is best for you.One benefit of golf fitness is that you will see an increase in distance and accuracy reasonably fast.

Swinging To A Finish

In conclusion, swinging to a finish is the last key.Now on your way to facing the target shift to your front side and focus on finishing with your weight left and your body over your left leg.
To help you even more you also can hold your finish until the ball lands. At this point you can see the many benefits of being involved with golf fitness.

Cleveland CG10 Wedges

Cleveland Golf CG10 Satin Wedge : A great choice for golfers looking to replace the PW that came standard with their game improvement irons. A more versatile PW that has the feel of a SW. The CG10 is widely hailed as the best feeling wedge Cleveland Golf has ever built. Even the sound at impact is subtly different from other wedges, adding to the distinct feel of CMM. Although overall head weights are comparable to past Cleveland wedge series, the CG10 features the positioning of more weight in critical areas, therefore improving feel and performance without sacrificing traditional shape. The CG10 is offered in a glare reducing, satin chrome finish which is favored by many PGA Tour players. The Low Bounce Wedge is an outstanding choice for shots from tight lies and firm turf conditions. The combination of less bounce and narrower sole width lowers the leading edge of the blade to promote clean contact on every shot. Perfect for players who like to be creative around the greens and in the bunkers and who have shallow attack angles through impact. Less bounce and narrower sole width make it easier to open the face and hit high, soft landing flop shots. The Standard Bounce Wedge is the best all around wedge for playability in all types of conditions for all types of players. It is very versatile for players who like to be creative around the greens. A Golf Driving Range is a place where golfers can go and practice and sometimes even warm up before starting a match.

A golf driving range is a large open area such as a grass covered field, with a line of hitting platforms arranged along one edge of the field. These individual hitting platforms will often include a tee for hitting golf drives into the field.

The driving range is where you should be spending most of your time when just starting out with the game of golf. It offers you the opportunity to learn the distance at which each of your golf clubs can hit. It teaches you to focus on a target. It helps you to make contact with the ball every time you swing.

Practicing Your Short Game

Many golf ranges also offer an opportunity to improve your short game skills. Some of these facilities offer one or two green areas that are set aside for men and women to practice their shots which require shorter distances.

A big mistake is made by many beginner golfers. They spend an enormous amount of time hitting the long shots, yet never develop their short game skills.

An appropriate strategy would be to split your time, perhaps one day at the standard range and the next at the short game area.

The Hunt For Real Grass

Although hard to find in most locations, a driving range that offers real grass to practice on is invaluable. Most private clubs and high end golf courses offer access to a driving range that has natural grass. The reason why real grass is preferred over turf is simply because it mimics the exact conditions you will play in during a real game of golf at the local course

Be Considerate When Hitting Balls On Real Grass

While utilizing a driving range that offers real grass to hit the ball from is preferable, some beginners may not be ready to handle such a quality service due to their inability to control their swing.

It is good etiquette to take care of the grass as best possible. For example, when taking a nice shot with an iron, you will almost always create a divot, which is simply a large chunk of grass cut out from your swing.

Too many of these shots can ruin the turf temporarily, until the grounds keepers shut down the area and reseed with new grass. Try to hit every ball as close to where you hit the last ball. Doing so will reduce the areas of divots created to just one spot in particular.

It is inevitable that the grass to be damaged, and the facility management understands this, but your job is to minimize this damage as much as you can.
